Description of Fiber ferrule
Fiber optic ceramic ferrules are important component of optical connectors and fiber optic patch cord, ceramic ferrules are made by ZrO2, with inner diameter 0.125mm, length range from 3mm to 15mm depends on different types of optical connectors. Diameter of the fiber ferrules can be 1.4mm, 1.5mm, 1.6mm, and 2.0mm.
The outer diameter (OD) of Ceramic Ferrule for SC, FC and ST optical Connectors is φ2.5mm. The OD of the Ceramic Ferrule for the MU and LC optical Connector is φ1.25 mm.
